I arrived after three days on the road, in the air, or someplace in between.
Jet jagged but exuberant I met the students at Flamingo. Alfie Spencer and Adam English provided two and a half-hours of qualitative wisdom. Aflie began with semiotics and Adam wrapped it up with ethnography. The students left with a hands-on understanding of consumer-based research and are ready to test their fledgling skills on the streets of London.
Off to the “culturally curious” Wieden & Kennedy, where Lucy Collier introduced the students to Platform. W+K’s environment featured open workspaces and a visually cacophony of stimulation. Platform inspired them to see the power of collaboration from a whole new perspective.
For me, it was the longest day I can remember.
